Jefferson Trust Funding for VNL's NURSING NARRATIVES through 2025

Knowing and remembering one’s “why” can motivate when times are challenging, help with decision making, and provide purpose. My “why” as a nurse-editor is to encourage and support nurses to share their voices through the written word.

"What you have to say is important," I tell them. "People will listen."

Thanks to the Jefferson Trust for the opportunity to lead NURSING NARRATIVES, a feature that will continue in future editions of VNL as well to provide nursing students with a space to express their thoughts.. It has been an honor to work with nurse-writers from various backgrounds and leadership stages. Special thanks to Christine Kueter, VNL’s editor-in-chief, for her brilliant mentorship.
