There's a reason

so many UVA Nursing faculty are tapped as presidents and leaders for such a plethora of key local, regional, and national nursing and healthcare organizations: their voice, their intellect, their passion, and their keen ability to bridge the chasm of political divide as nurses.

And though service takes these UVA nursing faculty well beyond the boundaries of the classroom, their students and mentees, of course, can’t help but sit up, take note, and be inspired.

Leadership, it turns out, is learnable.
